When Mates Express Jealousy
It’s hard being successful, according to a number of women. Apparently, many are marrying “beneath them”, not that I believe in such a thing because everyone has value, but there are those executive women who purposely choose blue-collar mates because they won’t have to get grief for shining in their own field.
Crazy, isn’t it? You would think that a spouse would be happy for an over-achiever, but somehow, I guess that diminishes them in their own sight. Emasculates them. Sort of a Bill Clinton-family scenario where then he has to prove how attractive he is to other women, since his own wife is too busy competing with him.
Right. A predictably sad game to play.
Okay, maybe not the best example, but you know what I mean.
Why can’t guys grow up? It could be a competitive thing, a guy thing. I don’t know. I would think they would be happy for a smart partner. Maybe not. Could explain why the Donald got rid of Ivana. His daughter Ivanka is smart, but of course, he can control her. A wife is a different matter.
The working equation could possibly be along these lines: Guys want bimbos who smile, giggle, obey, and have no mind of their own; ladies want blue collar men who can can work, produce, come home on time, have enough mental energy left to listen to them, while fixing a leaky toilet.
In case you’re in the market for the ideal mate, you heard it here first, lol.
The concept of team-building in couples and working together could also be a possibility, but would require a non-egocentric personality.
And that’s a whole ‘nother blog….
Have a great weekend!
