Whose Side is He On-!?

I know that the President of the United States is hell-bent on making peace with Islam, even sanctioning NASA a couple of years ago to reach out to Muslims and help make them feel good about their contributions to science (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/space/7875584/Barack-Obama-Nasa-must-try-to-make-Muslims-feel-good.html).  NASA, our space exploration agency?  Huh?

This week, some offensive film about Mohammed comes to the forefront, promoted by the same offensive pastor from Florida who wanted to burn the Quran a while back.  This riles up Muslims in Egypt and in Libya, factions that need nothing but a glance in their direction to rile them up, and again, the president in essence apologizes and assures them that Americans value all religions.  The Muslim extremists then storm the Libyan Embassy and kill several American  diplomats.

“The Atlantic” asks several additional questions as to what possibly led to these attacks, why they were not immediately condemned, and if the film was really the impetus, or if the attacks were pre-planned: http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2012/09/5-nagging-questions-about-the-libya-and-egypt-embassy-attacks/262292/.

Again, you don’t find this kind of craziness going on in the Christian world, when a blasphemous movie like “The Last Temptation of Christ” is produced.  The Jewish world also responds with restraint to their own antagonisms, building a wall and basically telling their friendly, neighborhood suicide bombers to get lost.  But the Muslims?  Anyone bothers or insults them and it’s license to rampage, rape, kill, and loot.

Ask any woman in Egypt today, as even modestly dressed women are assaulted with regularity if they do not have male family members to protect them at work or on the street.  The younger generation, just regular, everyday Egyptians, want to use FaceBook to change how their country views such attacks: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/sep/05/egypt-sexual-harassment?newsfeed=true.  And no one can forget the brutal assault of the Western newswomen while Egyptians were celebrating their “Arab spring”: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2165445/British-journalist-Natasha-Smith-22-recalls-horrific-sexual-assault-Egypts-Tahrir-Square.html.

I don’t recall our president demanding any justice.  Did he speak out against this?

As if things couldn’t get any worse in that part of the world, it gets curiouser and curiouser. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu asked to meet with the President Obama sometime next week when the two will be in New York at the United Nations.  The president responds that he cannot fit him into his schedule, while Israel, our ally and the ONLY democracy in the Middle East is kicked to the curb despite the fact that Iran may be gearing up for a nuclear attack against her.  Forget “kicked to the curb”, how about “thrown under the bus”, “pushed into the sea”, or “wiped off the face of the earth”-?  And here PM Netanyahu takes time out of the Jewish High Holydays to come to America and have his nation of 7 million be snubbed.  But the president will have time to meet with David Letterman.

Whose side is this president on?  Is it any wonder that one in six Americans believe that Obama is Muslim?  He has stated repeatedly that he is not, but his actions… his actions are very odd indeed for an American president.

Remember the last time our President invited PM Netanyahu to “lunch”-?  We wrote about it here: http://www.destinationsdreamsanddogs.com/netanyahu%E2%80%99s-lunch-with-president-obama/.  Maybe Netanyahu is better off staying home and eating his own apples and honey, rather than risking indigestion in America.

Our Oval Office needs to get a backbone.  Our national spine seems out of line. It’s time for an adjustment. Anyone know a good chiropractor?

Strong foreign policy is a thing of the past. America plays catch-up, only reacting after the fact. Now the American Embassy in Yemen has been attacked.

Obama was on Entertainment Tonight last night granting an interview along with Michelle. The topic-keeping their love life alive after so many years of marriage. If you really want to know the answer to that question I’d suggest you ask Mitt Romney who has been married for MUCH longer than Obama. Mitt was married in 1969. Obama was married in 1992. Obama is on ET and Letterman but doesn’t have time to meet with the PM of Israel- our only friend in the Middle East? Oh yeah, the Muslim Brotherhood that runs Egypt now will be really quick to help us out-not! I can’t even understand why this presidential race is close. What’s next for Obama-another appearance on the View? The guy is an EMBARRASSMENT to our country. And again, call me crazy, I’m not going to say he is a Muslim but he is certainly not a Christian.
